Cook and Eat Well With Nell

Nell Nelson: TV Presenter / Nutritionist / Cookbook Author / Cooking Demonstrator Public Speaker

Edinburgh-born Nell has perfected and is perfecting her hobby of gourmet/cyclo touring as the best way to see and discover a country and its cuisine.

Passionate about food and cycling, Nell has cycled and eaten in every country she has visited from Mexico’s cactus-studded deserts to Pakistan’s snow-topped mountains. Her hobby has led to a fascinating career in food and travel writing, writing cookbooks and presenting her own popular eight-part TV series The Woman Who Ate Scotland which was screened on STV in April May 2006 and in UKTV Food Channel on August 2006. The second eight-part series of The Woman Who Ate Scotland was broadcast in Spring/Summer 2007 on STV and UKTVFood and the Asian Food Channel.

At Your Healthy Living Show Nell cooked with quinoa - that wonderful South American grain you might have bought, but never actually cooked with - and showed visitors a lovely spicy way to use summer fruits such as nectarines, apricots and pears.
