Q Why is supporting the environment so important to your brand?

A Back in 2012 the realisation of how many single-use menstrual products were being flushed into our seas led AllMatters (formerly OrganiCup) to make an impact with the introduction of the reusable menstrual cup. Our brand name change in September 2021 to AllMatters is indicative of how we feel as a company that however small the sustainability change is in people’s lives, it all matters.

Q As a company, what are the most important steps you have taken so far, to support the environment?

A The menstrual cup is made of 100 per cent medical-grade silicone from quartz which is the second most abundant mineral on the planet’s surface. Our new powder-to-foam washes were developed so that the transportation of heavy water was eliminated. Most hand and body washes are made up of 65 to 80 per cent water, a heavy ingredient to transport mostly in single-use plastic bottles. The powders are added to water in the AllMatters reusable aluminium bottle with water from the home.

Q How do you ensure your packaging is as sustainable/environmentally friendly as possible?

A The menstrual cups have plastic-free packaging. The recycled carton has the instructions printed on to avoid additional waste. The storage bag is made from unbleached organic cotton. The AllMatters body wash and hand wash packaging is made from either recycled or recyclable materials.
